Emcee Zx, Mike the beatbox, Grim and Dj Roch make up The Safe Sounds Crew, a Hip Hop group from Bakersfield.
Following an underground precedent, Safe Sounds strays from the stereotypical rap image of thug, gangsta and we shun the obsession of materialism.
So what do we do?
Safe Sounds Crew will rock a show, we will create originial, relavent and straight up dope Hip Hop music that consists of live instrumentation, eclectic styles and always fresh rhymes and poetry.
Our musical influences include De la Soul, Wu Tang Clan, The Beatles, The Ventures, Dub, grime, Uk music scene, A Tribe Called Quest, Erosadis, the Roots, Blackalicious, Mento Buru and any other quality music.
