Hi Roxy

I lived in Bakersfield for three years. When I first relocated there, Bakersfield was very rural. Today however, with increased population growth and housing, job availabilty is improving. Your huaband should have no problem finding work but I am not certain if it will be as easy for you. However one never knows.

As far as family values is concerned this is an excellent town for bringing up children mainly becsause of the spanish influence. They are very family oriented and extremely courteous. I wish you all the best.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Love,

Margaret.

Thank you for your comment. I like the city, the only thing that troubles me is not finding a  job soon.
Thank You for taking time to tell us about bakersfield.
Hi Roxy.
Bakersfield is a good place to raise your family.  Here, most people have good family values, the cost of living is very affordable, and education is reasonably good.

As far as jobs, it is a little tough here. But just like everywhere else, those who want to work will find work.
