Duo Cantilena offers January flute, harp concert

Duo Cantilena, a harp and flute recital, will be performing at 4 p.m. on Jan. 18 at First Congregational Church, 5 Real Rd.,  as part of the Fred & Beverly Dukes concert series in the church sanctuary.  Nancy Ayala, principal flutist for the Bakersfield Symphony, will be performing with Fresno State University harpist Laura Porter.  There is no charge for the concert, and no reservations are necessary.  Details, 327-1609.
 
Future concerts in the series are classical guitarist Tim Callobre (with other local youth) on March 15 and Mary Moore on clarinet and Helen Rummbelsburg on piano on May 3.  All concerts are at 4 p.m. at the church.
