Chevrolets Limited of Bakersfield will host it's 29th annual Car Show and Fun Day on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Kern River Golf Course picnic area.  All vehicles are welcome with 18 classes and 3 trophies awarded in each category.  There will be children, adult, and super raffles as well as a 50/50 raffle.  The Bakersfield Firefighter Burn Foundation will have a BBQ tri-tip lunch for purchase.  Games for all ages and a slo-drag competition will be held.  Pre-registration is $25.00 if received before October 1st.  after October 1st, registration is $30.00 with sign in from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  For more information call Homer Walker at (661) 324-3745 or Ralph renz at (661) 832-5625.
