            The California Living Museum (CALM), 10500 Alfred Harrell Highway (between Lake Ming and Hart Park) will be open, but the Kern County Museum, 3801 Chester Ave. in Bakersfield, will be closed for the May 26 Memorial Day holiday.             CALM will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., offering $1 off admission prices for active, reserve or retired military and children. CALM is a zoo and botanical garden housing animals which because of injury or abandonment cannot survive on their own.
