  On April 22, otherwise known as Earth Day, is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than by participating in Kaiser Permanente’s E-Waste collection day, held in partnership with Goodwill Industries.   What is E-waste you might ask? It is unusable, broken or outdated electronics, or anything that has a plug or uses batteries such as, broken, old and unusable computers, monitors, TV sets, digital cameras, cell phones, printers, fax machines, clocks, phones, radios and DVD/CD/VHS players.   By partnering with Goodwill, the community will be able to quickly and conveniently drop off their personal e-waste from home at our Goodwill-staffed curbside collection station on the day of the event. Goodwill Industries of Southern California has a well-established e-waste collection program, which properly disposes of, recycles, or reuses e-waste through its community education, training, and job replacement services for people with disabilities. ...
