Optimal Hospice Care is offering a combination Basic Orientation and Patient Family Support Training Session for new volunteers on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, from 10am-2pm.  If you have always wanted to give back to your community and have not found the perfect fit - give hospice volunteering a try.  We are looking for caring individuals who can provide companionship, crafts, hairstyling, pet therapy, karaoke singing, light house keeping, bereavement care, etc etc etc.  Students are encouraged to fulfill their community service hours requirements by volunteering for hospice.  If you have a heart for it - we have a home for you here in our program.  Call the Volunteer Department today to reserve your seat or to inquire about the volunteer program.
