  1. The Italian Heritage Dante Association of Bakersfield, California, will hold their Italian Picnic on May 16, 2010, from 12 Noon to 6 PM. Come and enjoy a deep-pit style barbecued dinner ($12 adult, $5 children), pasta plate $6; other Italian finger foods, beverages, homemade Italian desserts; children’s games, a bocce tournament, Italian music, exhibits, a raffle, more.
